Casa de los Muñecos is a tourist attraction and the Art Museum of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP, Puebla’s public university).  It is a historic building considered one of the most notable examples of the civil architecture of Puebla of the eighteenth century. Since 1983 it is part of the patrimony of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP).

The old baroque house is located in the core of the Historical District, it is known by this name because of its distinctive tile decorated facade in the way of a mural, conformed by human caricatures in different poses and attitudes. The reason and meaning of such decoration is the plot of one of several fascinating legends conforming the popular chronicle in the city. Promotional video here.

This visit is offered by the BUAP,  the transportation to downtown is not included.
